Mahamudra Retreat
Mahamudra, the "great symbol," is among the most profound teachings and practices of vajrayana buddhism, but is also extremely simple and direct. Modeled on the Three Year Retreat at Gampo Abbey this program emphasizes direct, nonconceptual experience.

POINTING OUT THE DHARMAKAYA Ten Day Retreat for Shambhala Tantrikas This retreat will begin concurrently with the Chariot of Mahamudra weekend program. The first two days will be devoted to the practice of mahamudra shamatha, using the text by the 17thc master Pema Karpo. The remaining eight days will focus on the vipashyana investigation and pointing out practices, using the famous text Pointing Out the Dharmakaya by the 9th Karmapa, Wangchuk Dorje. We will conclude on Monday, April 12 with the Sadhana of Mahamudra feast. Participants doing this practice for the first time should commit to the entire program. Deposits will be refunded up to 30 days prior to the program, less a 10% administration fee. Deposits will be 50% refunded up to 10 days prior to the program.
There is no refund of deposits for cancellations less than 10 days
before the start of a program.
