Job Description
Dorje Denma Ling’s exciting and expansive plans for future development require the services of an enthusiastic and experienced Director of Capital Fundraising. As a key staff member, you will provide active leadership in creating, articulating and producing fundraising goals and strategies. Capital fundraising at Dorje Denma Ling is dynamically interconnected with other departmental activities, requiring a team spirit as well as the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
Reporting to and supervised by the Executive Director, planning, developing and executing a comprehensive and successful capital campaign.
Qualifications
- Shambhala Vajrayana practitioner, well-versed in the view and familiar with the wider mandala.
- Experience and success in fundraising and growing a donor base.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
Benefits
Dorje Denma Ling offers customary compensation and benefits, to be arranged with the Executive Director. The Director of Capital Fundraising is not required to reside at the Centre; however, you must be available to meet regularly with the Executive Director, in person and/or by telephone.
