30th Anniversary Celebration
October 8 - 9, 2023
Come Home to Dorje Denma Ling
Thirty years ago, some devoted students of Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, primarily members of the Dorje Kasung, began holding programs on the land now known as Dorje Denma Ling (Indestructible Place of Denma). Over these thirty years many teachers including Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtso, Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche, Khandro Rinpoche and Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche have held retreats and offered profound teachings and blessings to those who have come. In addition, many community gatherings have brought families and sangha together under a vast sky to experience the beauty and richness of the phenomenal world.
We are currently envisioning how DDL will manifest over the next 30 years. Let’s gather the clan to look back, to sharpen our vision of how to move forward. Please join us as we celebrate our 30th Anniversary Thanksgiving Feast on October 8th.
Come back to see old friends. Come to walk the land and feel the presence of the dralas. Come home!
Bring the kids, and the grandchildren! But please leave the dog at home.

$30 for Our 30th
1. Carpool and Get $30
The Community Catalyst Grant we couldn’t use in 2022 due to Fiona’s interruption is still available to help support a community gathering. We therefore have a pool of money set aside to offer $30 in gas money to those traveling from outside Tatamagouche who might need financial assistance to come. The funds available are generous, but not limitless.
If you would like to receive gas money, you can indicate that when you register.
We also encourage you to reach out to people outside of your family and offer rides to those without vehicles. The view in offering transportation support is to ensure anyone who wants to come, is able to do so.
If you need a ride, or can offer a ride, you may find this Ride Board Spreadsheet helpful.
2. Stay the Night for $30
Don’t feel like rushing home before dark? Why not stay the night?
We are pleased to offer “bed and breakfast” for $30 per person, double-occupancy.
Spaces are limited. First come, first served!
R.S.V.P. By Registration Only
You must register in order to reserve your spot and your room if you plan to stay overnight. (Select “Live or Stay Locally” if commuting.)
We need to know how many people will be joining us for dinner in order to have a place for you at a table. When you have a ride and know you can get here, please register.
